Privacy notice
Effective September 16, 2026. The free preview does not ask for a name, email address, room code, intimate answers, camera, microphone, or recording. Your selected preview mood and cards are held only in the browser while the page is open.
Optional public-site analytics
If you choose “Allow analytics,” we use Google Analytics to measure visits to public storefront pages. We send the page path without URL query details. We do not send account details, room codes, intimate answers, custom challenge text, or activity from private game and account pages. Google may use cookies or similar technology to provide this measurement. Learn how Google uses information from sites and apps.
Optional camera and microphone preview
Video Rooms offers an optional device-readiness preview. Camera and microphone access starts only after you press the enable button and approve your browser’s permission request. The preview remains on your device; Play After Dark does not receive, store, record, or transmit its picture or sound. Turning it off, leaving Video Rooms, or closing the page stops the active media tracks.
Optional product-interest choices
Signed-in players may optionally save whether they would consider premium games or a private Video Rooms membership. These choices are linked to the player account only to measure demand. They do not start a purchase, subscription, room, recording, or message. We do not record intimate answers in these choices.
What we do not do today
This release does not host live calls, connect partners’ media, record audio or video, publish creator content, or process payments. Calls happen through the outside service selected by the players. We do not sell a customer’s intimate answers or use them for advertising.
Before paid access opens
Any future account, payment, or game-delivery system will have an updated privacy notice explaining what is collected, why, how long it is retained, and how to request help.
